My whole life all I wanted was a nice set of abs. I used to be envious of the guy at the beach that would walk around with his shirt off showing off his sculpted mid-section. Abs Tip #1-
There is a saying that abs are made in the kitchen which is very true. Most people will workout and do all kinds of abs exercises but they'll fail when it comes to their diet. You could have a nice six pack but if you have a layer of fat covering it you or anyone else will never see it. Stick to the six small healthy meals per day mantra. It's great because you get to eat more often, and you feel better about yourself.
Abs Tip #2-
The next step is to make things fun for yourself. When people hear about losing weight or dieting they always paint a bad picture. It might be difficult to start at first, but once you get going it will become a habit. You need to change up your diet every week so you don't get tired of eating the same things. Then you need to change your workouts up. One day you need to do cardio, the next day do your favorite abs workout. This will keep things exciting and interesting.
Abs Tip #3-
The last tip is to monitor your progress with a journal. If you haven't seen changes in a couple of weeks, you'll be able to look back and see what you're doing wrong. Maybe one week you only worked out 15 minutes instead of 30 which hurt your progress. Then the other week you didn't eat as healthy as you wanted. Also write down your weight at least once per week to keep track of your progress.
