Now I would be the first to agree a few years ago that losing weight in such as short time was not possible after all if it was wouldn't everyone be thin?Well let me tell you it is not only possible to lose weight safely in a couple of weeks or on a ten day diet I actually have written a top selling book on the subject called lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks.All it requires is a a tasty and interesting balanced diet so will power and guidance and a light and simple to follow exercise plan.

Have you looked at yourself in a mirror recently? If not I want you to next time you have a bath or shower to take time to look at yourself. Are you pleased with what you see or horrified? How do you look when you look at your naked body in a full length mirror?

If your used to judging your success with losing weight using scales I want you to try a different method. I find it is far more effective and less demotivational if you gain a little.I suggest you buy a full length mirror and put it either on a door of your closet or on a wall where you can stand and see yourself everytime you get out of the bath or shower.

Many people think they are desperately overweight because they wear clothing that makes them look fatter than they really are or they only ever see themeselves from above.When you look down on yourself and you see your tummy of course you look fat.

Lets suppose after looking in the mirror you have decided you ought to go on a bit of diet. For example lets imagine you and your partner are due to go on vacation and you feel worried how you will look on the beach.

When you first thought about going on a diet you had a couple of months to lose the excess pounds but some how time has run away from you and you are still at square one with only a couple of weeks to go.Now you are going to need to lose 10 pounds or so in 14 days or even on a 10 day diet.

Imagine this you stopped eating and are now maybe 4-5 days in to your starvation diet your probabaly feeling tired,fed up, depressed and on top of all that could eat just about anything.Being so hungry at living on next to nothing will just make you sad and is not the way to go about things.

It doesn't matter whether you are getting married and trying to squeeze in to your wedding dress or planning a honeymoon to Hawaii or just going to a family party the result is the same by the time you have starved yourself for a couple of weeks you don't even want to go out let alone go out and enjoy yourself.

So lets back track you've decided you want to lose 10 pounds but if you lost 6 or 8 pounds would it really be that bad? Of course not don't obsese with what the scales tell you and let your eyes guide you (remember the mirror) Now just close you eyes a minute and imagine this ...

You'll be feeling sexier, more stunning and full of confidence when your wearing that sexy little black dress (LBD) or pretty colored bikini, think of all that extra attention you'll get and how hot and turned on you are going to feel when you are with your partner knowing how good you look. However if you been single for ages you better get used to having a lot more attention as well after all your'e a hot babe now.

Now doesn't that fire you up to succeed more than thinking about any kind of diet? It will be so much easier whe you know the effort will give you want you want in life. It won't feel like chore any more just a journey to your destination.

I telling the truth you really don't need a wonder pill after all you can't take pills forever. But when you really believe and want to make a change, it won't matter if it's a 14 day a 10 day diet or a complete change of lifestyle you will get there.
