Fasting As a Weight Loss Diet

I wanted to talk to you about fasting as a weight loss diet. I think everyone understands that starving yourself to lose weight is a horrible approach that just isn't going to work, but fasting isn't starvation. Fasting is a specified period of time where you don't eat. When you fast intermittently, you can lose weight while still eating around the same amount of calories on average. Studies have also concluded that people would live longer on this diet because the body was much better at dealing with health issues. I think that makes this a very interesting diet to take on. I'm going to talk to you about fasting as a weight loss diet.

The diet has a very simple structure to follow. You can eat for 24 hours and the next 24 hours you will go on a fast. That's all there is to it. During your eating times you can eat whatever you want. It doesn't matter if it is greasy fast food or sugar filled cake. You can have what you want and eat as much of it as you like. During the fast time you're not allowed to eat, you just have to stick with water. Remember, that on average you still eat the same amount of calories on average.

Fasting as a weight loss diet is natural too. Your body should be designed to eat like this because the way you eat today isn't natural. Humans used to hunt for food and that didn't mean they had three meals a day. Some days they'd go out, hunt and catch something big. That day they would eat, but other days nothing would be caught and they'd essentially be on a fast. That seems like a normal way to eat to me.
