Still people consume them. And those who make it a habit of consuming them regularly become addicted to these pills. Diet pills may consist of synthetic chemicals which may cause imbalance in the levels of nutrients present in body causing health complications. Many of the diet pills also cause restlessness, insomnia and nervousness. Due to this, people are suffering from sleepless nights. And when they are forced to quit taking them, people have to again compete with their weight. Diet pills also interfere with other medicines people take and promote dependency on drugs; hence these pills should be viewed as short term aids only.

Diet pills can provide quick results but at higher prices. Those who are obese or diabetic may be able to use diet pills safely. But those who suffer glaucoma eye disease, irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure and are more likely to be in danger.

“A healthy diet is the best way to keep you healthy.” So instead of using diet pills eat healthy, have more of salads and fruits, drink plenty of water daily and avoid junk food.
